Join us in celebrating the 100th ANNIVERSARY of the greatest college fight song in the nation, “On Wisconsin!”
In 1909, W.T. Purdy composed the melody and former UW student Carl Beck supplied the lyrics for what's now considered one of the country's most popular school songs. Since then, it’s been sung at thousands of Badger games, events and celebrations.
To celebrate its centennial, we held a video contest and asked people to submit videos of themselves singing and performing the song. The contest winners have been announced.
